| "Horse Impressions" is
an author's gallery. Andrzej Popielski presented there
his own impressions about horses, horse-riding and the
mutual relationship between people and these animals.
The author is a Polish photographer and journalist from
Warsaw who specializes in advanced economy and science.
His professional activity is thus far away from the "horse"
subject and nature photography.
The author as a photographer has artistic
roots. He has always been interested in the light effects
as they are depicted in the photographic process. He
practiced the basics in photography under Mark Holzman-
a very well known photographer of the sixtieth and seventieth
who specialized in cultural subjects and portraits of
artists. He was also related to the prestigious multi-lingual
magazine "Poland".
Andrzej Popielski's photography is full of variety.
Among his artworks one can find still life pictures
with an intellectual undertone which can be described
as "photography-aphorisms" (see the photo
